Strains of thought

Strains of thought

Little Sparks on your mind

Bright, timid and of different kind,

So many, our strains of thought.

Of quitting and of persisting

Eloping as slimy fish in holding,

So lucid, our strains of thought.

In triumph, screaming ’ You’re a Champion'

In defeat, being your sincere companion,

Such capricious, our strains of thought.

If unclouded, can garden the Barren

If determined, can move a Mountain

If focused, can outlive Time for certain

Such formidable, our strains of thought.
